They can essentially be divided into two groups. For smaller dimensions, system shafts are used, whereas tangential shafts are used for considerably larger dimensions. They mainly differ in how they stand and where they are in relation to the pipe.
All manholes have a cylindrical shape by design. Because the reinforced concrete top plate rests directly on the vertical wall of the construction, it is made to withstand full highway traffic loads in the country.
