To support the plant’s high-flow hydraulic system, KPMI provided Large-Diameter HDPE Pipes with an impressive diameter of 2000 mm. These Profiled Covered Wall Pipes, manufactured to SN4 stiffness class, were specifically engineered to meet the dynamic pressure requirements of hydroelectric applications. The pipeline system includes pressure ratings of 2 bar, 3 bar, and 4 bar, customized for different elevations and operational zones along the route.
The flexibility and adaptability of HDPE made it the ideal choice for this mountainous and geologically active region. Compared to traditional pipe materials, KPMI’s HDPE pipes are lighter, corrosion-resistant, and easier to install across uneven terrain—dramatically reducing construction time and transport effort.
