Cumabao Integrated Irrigation System – Cumabao, Isabela
In the farming community of Cumabao, Isabela, water is the lifeline that sustains livelihoods and drives productivity. Recognizing the need for an improved irrigation network, the Cumabao Integrated Irrigation System Project was initiated to deliver a more dependable water supply to local farmlands. Entrusted with a crucial role, Krah Pipes Manila Inc. (KPMI) the leading manufacturer of Large-Diameter HDPE Piping Systems provided the advanced materials and technical know-how needed to make this vision a reality.
The project utilized 1000mm Covered Wall HDPE Pipes with SN8 ring stiffness, specifically designed for gravity-based irrigation applications. Spanning 36 meters in length with 6 robust HDPE pipe sections, the system ensures high hydraulic efficiency and consistent water distribution. Built to withstand environmental challenges, KPMI’s pipes offer corrosion resistance, structural stability, and a service life measured in decades qualities that traditional materials often fail to match.
